POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Assists in managing contracts and projects in global health and other development areas for government and private sector clients. Supports coordination, direction and coordination of outreach, communication planning and production services. Supports communication with clients and ensures value based services, quality, and 100% customer satisfaction. Helps coordinate staff assignments and project activities. Maintains and organizes information and data in order to assist in the management of project activities. Tracks project tasks and activities, ensures timely delivery of services and products, supports all project needs. Position may require occasional domestic and international travel. Participates in company-wide staff development, business development, and marketing. | Compañía-Company: LINKS MEDIA, LLC - Contacto Fermin Lares Descripcion-Description: Health Communications Specialist - Job Description Reports to: Account Manager Last Updated: August 6, 2008 Status: Full-Time, exempt Location: Gaithersburg, MD Salary: $52,000-$72,000 Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) Status: Exempt, Executive Non-Bargaining Unit POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES The Health Communications Specialist is responsible for supporting strategic plans, program development and direction for multiple public health/social marketing programs; supporting all phases of program implementation, supporting quality control and ensure that the program objectives are met; supporting and implementing M&E; supporting health communication/public relations and social marketing campaigns development and implementation; supporting the development of health communication products including media materials, consumer and provider education products, training and technical assistance products, reports, and briefings; managing technical assistance and training systems; developing and nurturing partnerships; supporting formative and summative health communications research; delivering presentations at workshops, seminars and conferences; collaborating with professional staff and consultants; supporting cross-development training; and contributing to business development efforts.
